With NFC West teams all playing each other for Week 17, the division is guaranteed 42 total wins (unless one or both games ends in a tie).
That ties the 2007 AFC South for highest combined wins for a division since realignment.
It gets better...
42 wins gives the NFC West a combined .656 win percentage. This ties the 2007 AFC South for best win percentage in NFL history. The previous record was held by the 1975 AFC Central (.643).
So this Rams team belongs to possibly the best division in the history of football. Quite an honor when you think about it... even if the Rams are the last-place team from that division.
