Is anyone else surprised that the Rams keep Evans over Henderson. It sure seems like Henderson has helped the team more than Evans has and is Rivers still on the roster.

I think so just because Freeman was getting more snaps and he was a lot more productive as a runner than Hendo.

Sometimes a coach will release a player because that is what "also" is best for him. Not just the team.

I think there is a good chance at this point in the season he does not make it off the waiver wire.

Evans is a rookie 5th round pick. With him its more about the future. They aren't cutting him for a half year rental.

McVay is a real stickler for Pass protecting RBs and he obviously doesn't trust Evans for that yet.

Not surprising. Respect to Henderson for stepping in when we needed him, but he's a JAG. Gets what's blocked and that's it. Glad we have Kyren coming back.

They drafted Evans for a reason, Henderson the vet, who is good in pass protection & catches the ball well.

Although I wish I did see more of Evans, Henderson served his purpose.

I’ll always respect Henderson for his Super Bowl contribution. He made a few plays in that game.

Seems odd to carry Evans over Henderson, though.
