I'm here!!!:yay:
Been cruising in the wrong spot.
We are staying north about 15 miles of the stadium. We are arriving Friday and leaving Monday.
This is what we have come up with as for plans. Would love to share them with anyone.
Saturday we are going to go down to the Super Bowl Experience and go from there. After burning up the interweb on what to do that seems like the most reasonable plan for us. We are going out there to watch our Rams claim the Lombardi Trophy so make the weekend of just that. There is so much to do in that immediate area. We will be there in time for the Rams Rally. So we are assuming the early one and if turns out not, then we are early for the late one.
Sunday is all Super Bowl. We want to get into the Stadium at least a couple hours in advance to check the place out and enjoy watching our team warm up.
I think this may be a unique opportunity to meet up on really what have become old friends. Just throwing this idea out there, we are open to anything, but the natural place seems to be maybe around rally time on Saturday? Some may not be there (we originally planned on flying in on Saturday) so maybe early Sunday afternoon? Maybe both?
There is an area called Super Bowl Live thats in Centennial Olympic Park just south of the Super Bowl Experience and it doesn't appear to have any fees to attend. Not completely certain but I think thats where the rallies take place. I will attach a couple maps for your consideration. Maybe just a good starting point.
We are totally open to other ideas. These were the best we came up with. We will be Ride sharing (Don't forget to tip the driver!---For Loree--) and taking the MARTA Rail.
So excited its tough to sleep!
GO RAMS!!!
