Dickhead Smith (feel free to tweet him on his account) runs full speed and uses his helmet like a bullet to the head.

Notice MP goes from straight ahead to completely upside down and laid upon by that fat fuck in a split second. Imagine the force.

I really am surprised he got up at all.

Head shot noticed by all. There is no way he doesn't get reprimanded for the hit - just not aware of all the options for being reprimanded.

Im amazed Peters got up from that one. It was a crazy dirty hit. If I had Twitter I wiuld be all over this.

Is this first time we’ve had two face lacerations in a season? Maybe AB was on to something with the helmets :p

Thought I was on private crusade, because I was expected outrage and got nothing.

I found out I'm not alone:

The way his head snaps twice in like a half of a second in slow mo is crazy

It's hard to see these helmet to helmet hits in real time and especially in that situation. The end zone is the primary concern for the officials in this situation. The fact that they didn't see it is not a surprise. It happened at the same time Peters crosses the goal line.

They are in reverse mechanics because of the interception. The white hat would have that call and the line of scrimmage official would have goal line responsibilities (he shouldn't be looking for head contact) but because they are reverse the white hat was probably looking at the goal line, which is a very common mistake.

Someone said Intentional......I doubt it, he is an O lineman, he hasn't been asked to tackle someone very often since he was in HS.

(I think you guys know I officiate HS, JC and semi pro ball)

Really? Well get out there and fix all the errors then. I have more trust in you without ever having met you than what I see weekly in the NFL.

It's amazing to think just 10 to 15 years ago this type of hit would have teams docs and coaches say, "Hey, just shake it off.".
