SEGMENT 4 --Don Banks joins the 1-3 show to talk about some football. Don Banks tells us what the rest of the league thinks about the Rams. Will we have to get another coordinator to replace Spags or could we get a coach with a good track record. Is Tim Tebow a dead man walking in John Elway’s eyes?

I dunno. The announcer came up with that ole "teams with depth can handle injuries" routine. Well he can't name an example of a team
that started from scratch and then could handle massive injuries--
within 3 years.
I can;'t think of a single example of that.
Except maybe for the recent "new rules" expansion teams that had extra picks, free agency and a zero cap, and an expansion draft. Outside of that---
any team I can think of that reaches "stability" within three years, if you look at their drafts and their roster, you see that they inherited veteran talent, and that makes a difference.
AND no team--none, no one, nada-- I can think of has ever handled losing 3 OTs and starting SIX.
So this whole "all teams have injuries" mantra strikes me as empty.
