Observations
-St. Louis might have the tallest group of defensive tackles in the NFL if Matthew Conrath, an undrafted free agent from Virginia, makes the team. Conrath is listed at 6’7″ and would join rookie Michael Brockers (6’5″) and Kendall Langford (6’6″) in the defensive line rotation. If nothing else, all this potential length would make it tough on quarterback sight lines over the middle and provide an opportunity for the interior defensive line to deflect passes coming in their direction.
-The Rams spent quite a bit of time working on the hurry up offense today. Coach Fisher was heavily involved in this work, often seen running between plays and shouting directions. At the beginning of the session, Sam Bradford looked terrific running this aspect of the offense.
-Upon entering 11 on 11 work, the offensive line showed their boisterous side when running on the field yelling. Those actions drew quite a bit of attention from fans and reporters alike. It was good to see the group eager to get at it and having some fun in the intense heat.
