Interesting that Gurley was only 150 yards away from this being considered a good year.

Was good to see guys making plays.

Williams looks like a real keeper.

Travin Howard looked good. I don't tend to hold it against a LB when he's beat on a double move. Most LBs won't make that play.

Taylor Rapp is a baller. Yeah, he's made some big rookie mistakes, but it just shows how good he is that he's expected to play like a savvy vet as a rookie.

Joseph-Day is finding his way on the inside. He plays with a lot of passion. I dunno if he's the answer, but he flashes.

Lastly, sick and tired of listening to all the Chandler Jones DPOY talk. Talk to me when he gets 20 sacks being double and triple teamed more than 70% of the time...

NO ONE in the NFL on either side of the ball gets as much game planning as AD. Not Russell Wilson, not Patrick Mahomes... NO ONE. In the Seattle game, iirc, they had FOUR OL blocking AD!!!

The very idea that AD isn't the DPOY is beyond absurd and the "story tellers" just want to change things up. It's nonsense. Awards like that should be about production and effect. NO other defender affected the game planning and execution of the other team more than AD and it's not close.

Yea!! Were still out of the playoffs. Cant believe the misssed 44 yarder in seattle came back to bite us. It was the first thing i thought of when that kick was missed. Sometimes i hate intuition.

Despite the missed kick if gurley was used properly in Pittsburgh we're playing next week. I think the biggest dissapointment and confusing aspect of the season is how gurley was used in this offense, especially in Pittsburgh.

Sean said he started using todd more because hes not being an idiot only to revert to idiocy in 2 brutal losses in Dallas and san fran. Of course the worst pick 6 of goffs career didnt help. But i digress...as this season has.

Gurley still had a better season then I thought

Especially when you consider how many times he was forgotten, how many runs were stuffed 4 yards behind the LOS and how many times he was just relegated to blitz pickup.

Teams def defended us differently and at the very least, we need to adjust. I dunno what the blocking scheme is on some runs, but it sure looked like they were blocking for a screen on some of those plays as the entire DL was in our backfield almost before Gurley got the hand off. So yeah... good news is that this season seems to have aged McVay as if he was President, so I'd expect him to hit this off-season with a vengeance and we'll see some really interesting stuff next season!

I LOVE how McVay is falling in love with the TE position again. That's nice.

We were only a few points from the playoffs this year. Oh well.

Yeah this whole season just was a bit sour in many respects.

However, I agree with McVay. It is what it is and if this means we're better able to take a hard look at what's working and what's not and not have various deficiencies covered up, then as long as they take full advantage, this may end up being the boon we need.

Great season by Kupp coming back from the torn ACL. Woods just continues to be rock solid.

Imagine if Higbee came alive a few weeks earlier. He would have had 1K yards. He looks like a great option going foward

It's nice to have finally hit on a TE , considering how many draft picks we've used on that position over the last 10 years

Good win but we need help on O. I wouldn’t mind bringing in Freddie Kitchens as a Staff...

I can't get enough of Rams winning. Im glad that the team fought through a rollercoaster of a season and came out with a winning record. I believe we will be back in it next year.
It's a bummer that Rams games are done again it feels like the season just started. It's going to be a fun and interesting offseason so maybe the Rams withdraws wont be too bad.
