Cool but want to win the division. 4 game sweep of the Cubs. Play in AZ next. Finish the season at home against the Cubs.

Not only a 4 game sweep of the Cubs, but a 4 game sweep IN Chicago, and all 4 wins by a single run. An absolute dagger in the hearts of Cubbieland.

Congrats, Cards.

Go Dodgers :p

Just watched the final out of the Cards win.

Not only did they clinch a WC in Chicago, but this was their first 4-game sweep of the Cubs in Chicago since 1921.

Damn!

Is there a long history of that?:p
I have an interesting story sorta related to that.

I went to Game 4 of the ‘04 NLDS at Dodger Stadium. Cards were up 2 games to 1. Lima time was lights out the night before to keep us alive.

Long story short, the Cards won. Pujols launched a missile that landed north of Frisco. But the best part of the game happened once it was over. That’s the game where the Dodgers walked out onto the field to congratulate the Cards. One of the classiest things I’ve seen in baseball.

Later on, my buddies and I ran into some Cards fans filing out, and we talked for about 10 minutes about the 60s Dodgers and Cards, congratulated them and wished them luck. They all added that they always pull for us when we play the giants, so we wished them even more luck after that. :p

It hurt to lose, but all that made the sting not as bad.

Have always respected the Cards franchise.

Again, best of luck except against the Dodger Blue

I do remember that series. Super classy move by the Dodgers and their manager Tracy. It was unforgettable sportsmanship. I used that example to my Little League team the next year.

Watched the final out of the Cards win during half time.

You dont wanna have to count on the Reds. :p But seriously, I never thought M'waukee would go this apeshit. Only a game back with 3 to go.

Gonna be tough for the Cards. They play the Flubs, while the Brewers get the Rox. Damn. It could be Sunday before we know who plays the Nats, and who plays the Braves.

Could be a tense weekend for you people. Hang on

Like whenever Jansen takes the mound for us.

My poor heart.

But we can't help our dumb-ass selves from coming back for more--aain and again and again, can we?

Cards and Crew losing big in late innings. Advantage Cards. Magic # will fall to 2 with Crew loss

Dodgers beating giants. Always good news
