On a cheap Winston type deal? I think it would be a great move. If Goff gets hurt or to run some short yardage plays. Wouldn't break the bank and I agree with the article.

If he's not already signed with someone else I would stay with Bortles if he will take a cheap deal. I dont know how much Cam is going to want but his attitude kills it for me. As long as everything is going smoothe it's cool but when he gets frustrated hes been known to sulk, throw tantrums give up on his team. So that's a no from me.

I dont think Cam is going to play somewhere as the gadget guy, or designated run QB
Could be wrong
I'd say Bortles may end up in Cincy if Rams dont sign him

If Cam will run the ball for us I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

With all the personnel we have now, I want a running QB. Obviously we can't duplicate what the Ravens are doing, but we can take a piece of it - having a QB who can run and possibly throw the ball with 3 TEs on the field with Kupp and Woods being great blockers themselves.....whew.

Agreed. Not happy with Goff's immobility or ball protection. Without a stellar pocket he has no advantage over average qb's IMO.

Problem is Cam cant run well anymore. Too Injury prone. Its not like he’s a very humble guy either. He sulks when things don't go his way. Not worth the headache and the potential negative impact it could have on Goff

We might have something with the 2 UDFA QBs. but that wouldn’t cover an injury to Goff this year. Dalton would be nice but my guess is he’s looking for a chance to start somewhere even if he has to wait for an injury situation.
