I dont know.RAMS only scored once (albeit when it was needed) in the 2nd half. Once again he seemed to be getting too conservative as the game got close. There were times when the defense was gassed and really needed a sustained drive to give them a blow on the sideline, but the O couldnt manage to put one together
The defense was gassed due to their own inability to stop the Seahawks at all in the 2nd half. The offense wasn't that bad in the second half. They had 4 possessions...PUNT, PUNT, TD, End of Game Drive
2nd half possessions for the Rams:
- 3 and Out (Had possession for about a a minute and a half)
- After the D gave up an 82 yard TD Drive....Rams went 34 Yards starting from our 20, going to SEA 45 yard line, before we Punt. (Had possession for about 4 and half minutes, plus the End of 3rd Qtr. break). Almost went for it on 4th and 1. The D had plenty of rest.
- After the D gave up a 91 yard TD Drive...Rams and Schotty engineer an 80 yard TD drive of their own. (Had possession for about 4 minutes). Plenty of rest again.
- After the D gave up an 80 yard TD Drive...Rams go 48 yards in the final 3:18 to secure the win.
Pass/Run Ratio in the second half: 13 passes (including Hekker's fake) / 10 run. There were some shorter/safe passes, but there was also a 19 yarder to Quick, and a 30 yarder to Givens in the mix.
** I've been pretty critical of Schotty, but he called a very good game IMO. The defense certainly did not play well at all.
