The third and final day of the 2022 NFL Draft has officially come to a close. The seventh round wrapped with the San Francisco 49ers picking Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy at pick No. 262, also known as Mr. Irrelevant.

Now comes the chaos of undrafted free agency.

In reality, the mad scramble that is undrafted free agency begins before the draft is even over. Teams begin calling potential priority free agents during the third day of the draft to get on their radar in case they go undrafted. Once the draft ends, it’s every man for himself as players and teams scramble to get deals done. Sometimes a player will commit to multiple teams, and some of the people reporting signing news are not your traditional big name media personalities. It becomes absolute chaos.

Most UDFA signings will not last more than training camp, with some getting cut before we even get through mandatory minicamp in June. But, quality talent has emerged over the years and this year will be no exception.

When we get any info on UDFA signings, we should probably just aggregate them here.

I'm really interested in who the Rams are able to bring in...

Hoping for a blocking TE. Maybe a returner or two as well.

When we get any info on UDFA signings, we should probably just aggregate them here.

I'm really interested in who the Rams are able to bring in...

So many good ones are gone already.

First world problems - the roster is too good to attract a lot of the good UDFAs.

We still have room to add camp depth at QB, TE, RB, DE, OLB, ILB, K & P.
Once you arrive, then prove why you are here.

I would have liked to see is pick up a stout ILB off the UDFA wire. We're set at the position..but I just think you can find a more physical 4th ILB than Rozenboom...

I think there are a bunch of hints that the fourth inside linebacker may be Taylor Rapp, following the same path as Travin Howard.

That's why I want us to have a more stout #4 ILB... I'm not a fan of the hybrid safeties playing ILB. Travin is a converted Safety, but he converted some time ago, and was drafted by us after playing some really good ILB on a pretty good defense.

IF Taylor makes the team, I'd say he'll be more our Dime Safety than a real ILB.

having both our 3rd and 4th ILBs being smaller more hybrid types wouldn't be the way to go...but if we do...we should have a more stout practice squad ILB that we can start developing.

I've been poking around on the Rams UDFAs a bit and watching some games and highlights and stuff and it seems to me that maybe they get lucky on a couple of these guys. You never know with them of course and each of them are a longshot but collectively the Rams tend to get one or two every year added to the roster so here's the two I think have a decent shot.

Jamal Pettigrew looks the part. He's a big dude and an eager blocker so he's going to be in play for a TE4 blocking role. Lower level of competition and he's not athletic at all as TEs go (saw a 5 sec 40 time listed for him which is slower than Mundt) but for the role he'd need to win his biggest competition are the bottom feeders from the other positions like WR where the Rams have some badass teamers. Seems like he has a shot though.

Jake Hummel is really interesting because that Iowa St defense 3-3 stack he sometimes stacks but mostly plays the stud/bronco roles which are basically SS type roles where they enforce in the box and also cover a bit. He's not a large dude but he is athletic and not afraid of contact. I'd say he's quick, versatile, and plays to the whistle which is a really nice combo. What he has working against him is whether the Rams want to keep 4 ILBs.
