What do you mean? If you don't like paying $20 for parking, $50 a game, paying $15 a beer, and all for a sport with 81 home games with 16 players doing nothing for the majority of a play, GTFO!Meh, I've lost a lot of desire for baseball with the players and owners bickering and shitting on the fans. I'll stream some stuff or watch when I see it on tv but I cancelled my mlb.tv subscription.
yeah, a bunch of billionaires and millionaires squabbling over who gets what percentage of my hard earned money pissed me right TF offMeh, I've lost a lot of desire for baseball with the players and owners bickering and shitting on the fans. Man, I think back to 15 years ago, and my roommates and I scraped our money together to buy the MLB package for $120. We watched so many games, not just our Dodgers games, but other teams and matchups as well. Now, I can barely make time to catch my own team, let alone whatever matchup is on Fox or ESPN. Forget about paying a bunch of money for all the games, my kid needs shoes, and I've got to fill my tank up with $7 gas...I'm kinda on the fence with baseball now. I definitely won't be paying for any MLB streaming packages anymore. I might stream free games if I feel like I'm in the mood. Or if its broadcast on my local stations. If they dragged this on a couple months longer they mighta lost me for the season or longer. When my cost of living increases can't keep up with inflation, gas prices and housing its getting harder to root for millionaires who make money for billionaires.

San Francisco Giants assistant coach Alyssa Nakken made history when she took over at first base on Tuesday night. (Neville E. Guard/USA Today)
How in the hell did the Yankees get Matt Carpenter? Every team had the chance to sign him. In 10 games with NY, he has 5 homers, 10 Rbi and is hitting .275.

Except his home runs at Yankee Stadium (with the exception of 1) would have been home runs in over 20 MLB parks, including St. Louis. I believe he's also hit a couple on the road. So there's that. It's because he was lazy as a Cardinal. He never tried to improve himself with us when he got his big contract; it's probably because he was on his last legs that he did with the Yankees. Right field being a bandbox didn't hurt either.
Yeah there is an aura and mystique about being a Yankee. Some embrace it and some flinch from it. Apparently Carpenter is the former. He even made a diving stop at third base with a strong throw to Rizzo for the out.The honor of putting on the pinstripes help some elevate their game but many also crumble from the pressure
