You are, the center of totality goes through Carbondale IL heading NE so St. Louis will be almost totality. Carbondale was center of the last one too but was heading different direction. I am close enough I'll get most of it but not quite totality. Not sure. I live in St. Louis, Missouri, so I don't know if I'm close or not.
"You're in the wrong Kansas if you want to see some shit."We'll have a pretty good look at it in Kansas. Plus it will be better in Kansas than in Misery ~ @Memento
I can kinda remember that one , I can remember poking a hole in a piece of cardboard, and going out into the school yard to watchNot sure how this will compare to the one we had when I was in the 5th grade. That one was supposed to be a once in a lifetime thing they said. This one coming up will be at least the 2nd since the one in 1978 or 79.
Yeah we put a hole in a piece of construction paper and held it above a sheet of white paper to see the eclipse. It was pretty cool, but nothing I would drive 100s of miles to get a better glimpse of.I can kinda remember that one , I can remember poking a hole in a piece of cardboard, and going out into the school yard to watch
but I can't actually remember seeing the eclipses it self , it was probably cloudy that day
Last one was my favorite
