From what it's worth, he's pretty tied in to the league outside of Denver.

Benjamin Allbright 2025 NFL Draft Mock Draft

ByBenjamin Allbright
Apr 23, 2025

I tried to do my best to match player or position to team rather than projecting trades. I do believe there are several trade candidates in this draft. Carolina and Minnesota have both been vocal about wanting to move back, whether or not they actually succeed. I did not include Jaxon Dart in the first round although I do think it's likely a team could trade into the last 12 picks for him. I am not buying the Tyler Shough hype for the first round, although I know two teams at are fairly high on him and could look to draft him in the second round.
Send all complaints to me.
As always, enjoy.

I'd be pretty damn meh with this result. I do like Hairston some, but, without his combine, is he even remotely considered a 1st round pick? He had a 67 grade at PFF last year. IMO, he is a 2nd round pick but yeah, the board didn't fall great to us in this mock. MUCH rather trade back and grab Revel or Amos. I'd actually rather Amos was this pick even.

No Will Johnson?

I know there have been a few recent reports regarding injury concerns, but it's hard to see him falling completely out of the first round.

Hairston probably wont be there at 26. Dude is a absolute stud with good size and range. He is a turnover machine, he does however get washed out in coverage at times as he tends to look in the backfield for turn over opportunities. Not sure if he's better suited for Zone or man?

Seems like the Rams played a bit more man2man towards the end of the season last year, not sure if that's evidence of them going that route in the future.

Yeah, interesting things in this mock for sure. Simmons went higher than I anticipated too.

BTW, can anyone remind me the lore on why Commandrs becomes Commodes on here. Why the hate? (I mean, why the hate more than any other team I guess) and also while we're at it, Payton hate?

The combine is overrated. I think teams are starting to realize that. Theres a reason why teams like the jags, panthers, raiders, browns, and jets are always picking top ten.

He had connections with Elway and the previous owners, not as much now.

I'd rather take Revel Jr in place of Hairston

I agree that is probably true. That said, I'm pretty down on him. (IF TRUE) Lingering knee issue that could shorten his career and a multitude of injuries at Michigan and in the training process after season. He seems a bit fragile. Not to mention the question on his athleticism.

Dart bailing on the draft certainly makes it seem like he knows he's not going in the 1st round

5’11 180. He may have range but he’s about same size as Forbes.

My feeling is if the Rams stay put, they’ll look at BPA OL vs BPA CB and make that pick.

I don’t have Hairston going in the 1st rd. My prediction mock has us taking Zabel. Fwiw

If it fell like this, with no chance to trade down, Hampton would be tempting. Maybe you then move Williams or Corum with such a move.

If I was him I'd pass on it too. I'd pass on it if I was Milroe. Not getting taken and having that camera all in your face sounds like a miserable night. Hookers and blow wooo!
