The biggest upset about the 01 Super Bowl was that it denied one of the best to ever play the game a championship ring. When I met my wife was in that 01 season and Aeneas was always her favorite player. Can't wait to watch.

Edit: woops, Dec. 8th... mod title edit if able please.

Thanks for the "Heads-Up!' I'm going to record it! It's on, on the West Coast, at 6:00pm PST and repeats at 9:00pm PST!!

Funny - he was MY wife's favorite player, too. Even got her an Aeneas Williams jersey, that she wore proudly on game day (even a few years after he retired).

Thanks for the heads-up, man. The DVR is set to snag it.

Ha, no problem. Yeah, the game he broke his leg my wife actually cried. I knew I had created a monster at that point. But I still love her.

We were also randomly watching a NASCAR race that first year for which I'm not really a big fan of but some times when I'm bored I'd watch one. She asked who she should cheer for and I said "Dale Earnhardt is pretty cool, root for him". Yeah, was the race he died in at the end. She got into it too and was all screaming at the tv at the end when he was blocking for Jr. and got spun out. I'm surprised she still watches things with me. Everyone I tell her to cheer for breaks bones, loses super bowls followed by 14 years of atrociousness, or just flat out dies. Geez, think I just depressed myself lol.

Aw man...

Maybe you could convince her to become a Russell Wilson fan? Just a thought.

Dude that little clip was beast! I loved it!

Brought back a ton of memories... FFS! We should have won that SB!

Definitely Got to watch this!

He had a great career and I sure wish he had earned that ring in 2001. Super Bowl XXXVI still gives me indigestion and even the occasional nightmare when I think about it. When the Rams win another Super Bowl, then the monkey will be off my back forever!
