It's a players' poll. I think defenders in the NFL respect QBs with some athleticism more than pocket statues.

Hate it all you want but Lamar deserves #1, especially after that ass whooping we saw first had.

At least we know he wont be in the top 5 for very long. Jacksons career will be over before AD drops out of the top 5.

As I hate to do it I agree. This last year Jackson was #1 and Wilson probably #2.

Wilson is a complete Joke. Jackson had one of the greatest Olines in recent memory supplemented with an offensive scheme that NFL defenses aren't built to defend. They player and scheme is gimmick. It's proven to be short lived and not built for post season.

Mahomes proved his worth as #2 to Donald. But having said that, Mahomes was 50% completion 0 TD and 2 Int in the Super Bowl with 6 minutes left to play before his miracle play to Tyreek Hill, which was all Andy Reid and Tyreek Hill.

So, no one is perfect.

Yeah, I don’t see it too far “out of whack” either.

It’s a hair splitting exercise when you get top 5. We would all agree those topic 5 are worthy of top 5 consideration... and it’s all subjective anyway with a list of this type.

so 3 out 4 QB's from the NFC West made the top 100. And AD99 behind one of them.

Got to think a couple guys will be motivated to prove where they really belong on the list.

Without a doubt man. It’s more splitting hairs and personal preferrance.

Not to mention, the guy just had a MVP season.

Matt Ryan was ranked 10th in his MVP year, and Mahomes was what, third last year?

I’m not sold on Jackson being the next great thing. Not by a long shot, he still has one of the weaker arms among NFL starters. I don’t think he’ll be a scrub, but he’s not Mahomes, he’s more like all the other short time wonders. We’ll see if that changes next year, but this list was basically just popularity, not actual skill.

Also, I'm not sure why they chose Kenny Young to speak on AD lol. That was the first time I saw his face.

Here is my take on the Top 100 list. Besides your favorite team or player, there‘s only a handful of these guys any of us will be talking about 10-15-20 years down the line. What I do know is that AD is the guy who will garner the most admiration from his peers.

When current players, past players, coaches and TV Analyst talk about him they consistently say he’s one of a kind. He’s not compared to others (He has no peer at DT), that’s the highest form of flattery or compliment I think a player can receive IMO.

I know I am making it a point to cherish his game play for the next few years as it won‘t be replicated anytime soon.

1. Mahomes
2. Donald
3. Wilson
4. Jackson
I'd be okay with this, but only because Mahomey, Wilson are QB's and all that. AD is the best football player in the league and its not really close.

LJ deserves top 15 status and probably top 10 but top 5 and #1 is clearly a hype ranking.

I agree AD is the best player in the league. Mahomes has the biggest impact of any player in the league due to the fact he is a QB.

The fact that Kyler and Jimmy gonorrhea made this list and Goff didn't should tell you all you need to know. Wtf has Murray done? Wtf has Jeanine garafalo done??? He choked away a Superbowl, that's what HE did. First one to say Goff lost our Superbowl gets a virtual nut punch....
