Everett had a 76 passer rating that game & only 1 TD pass.

Threw 2 picks and was sacked 6 times.Not sure when he was called Chrissy, but he took his fair share of Hits.

We have to remember, Everett was a green rookie and only had Dickerson at RB the first 9 games of his career (6 in 1986; 3 in 1987). Imagine Everett, Dickerson, Ellard and Flipper (who didn't come aboard until 88) together for a few years.

Dickerson shined without the threat of a pass game except his first year with Ferragamo. And even then we passed 512 times (including drops that were sacks) and ran it 511. Then he had Kemp and Brock under center, both less prolific than Ferragamo. We can only imagine that offense with the best RB of his time and a good young QB with multiple WR weapons.
