You guys think we could have beaten you in the NFC Championship Game had we gotten past the 49ers?

I think it would have been tough to win at Lambeau. All depends how Rodgers would have played. I tell you one thing Id rather have played SF at home...

No. Our D finally seems to have found a groove. Teams we played the second time this year we seem to have a good plan. Plus, we can now stop the run. So NO.

Man with the way the Rams played the Bucs it would've been very very very hard for the Packers to win.

I have nothing but respect for Rogers’ ability and stats, but Aaron Rogers is 1-4 in NFC championship games averaging 275 yards a game and with 9 TD and 8 INTs. Not terrible, not great. Obviously, the 1-4 record is not completely on him, but elite QB’s are called elite because they put their team on their backs and carry them to victory especially in the BIG games. That being said, the Rams lost their last 2 trips to Lambeau, so who knows. I feel like it may have been a similar game to the 9ers and packers in the divisional round. Anyway that’s my 2 cents. You are always classy as a “non-ram fan” poster on here Packfan18 and it’s appreciated.

What was the weather like in GB last Sunday. I agree our D is on fire right now but when it’s brutally cold the ball bounces differently. And catching it is way different than being in SoFi.

Glad we didn’t have to find out.

Is Rogers leaving???

We've had problems stopping Rogers and I don't think we would have played well in the cold, so things worked out perfectly for us as is.

I think our game this year was the best we played all year. I don’t think it would have happened again for us.

Good question.

A good part of me thinks if the 49'ers went into GB and won... why not the Rams?

I felt 70/30 we'd beat the 49'ers at home.

I was feeling 40/60 we'd beat the Packers in Green Bay. I would have probably put the same odds on SF, but as it turns out they pulled it off.

Glad fate intervened and we never had to find out.

What is the buzz in Green Bay right now... Rodgers staying or going? Anyone down on LaFleur for any reason?

It would have been a lot closer at the end and probably who had the ball last wins

I think the best shot to win it all for this years Packers' team would have been playing the NFCCG at a more climate controlled field where they could utilize their entire playbook.

That field in Lambeau on that day, the 9ers brand of "bully ball" likely would have beaten all other 31 teams.
I think the Rams beat the Packers on that field in those conditions too.

Lambeau hosting games in winter is a different sport than football.

It sounds like he is going to Denver.

That would have been a tough game for both teams

But I like our chances running against your team than your team running against us with the different game plan that Raheem has come up with in the last part of the season

Raheem finally listened to all of us on this board asking for a much more aggressive defense lol

No. Not this year. Not with Stafford and a healthy Kupp, healthy Donald, Von Miller and OBJ.

Plus Rodgers played poorly. He only threw to two players. How do you win that way. It is very odd because he used other pas catchers throughout the season.

the only reason GB didn't win that game is rogers didn't really care. if they were playing the rams Rodgers wouldn't have cared enough to win that game either. we are winning this superbowl. go rams

A Rams win would have been hard For sure.
Having said that - going in to the NFC championship game, I preferred to play the Packers in GB.
