Better than the initial projection, a couple of those 5ths were 6ths early on.

Should be higher picks next year if we lose Mayfield, Gaines, A'Shawn, Rapp, Scott & Gay to free agency.

I'm fine with three fifths and a seventh. We had a couple of sixths as it was.

The NFL awards compensatory picks for players teams lose in free agency the year prior. Last offseason, the Rams lost Von Miller, Darious Williams, Austin Corbett, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, which is the reason they received these additional picks.

Darious Williams-signed a 3 year, $30,000,000 contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, including a $1,500,000 signing bonus, $18,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $10,000,000.

Austin Corbett signed a 3 year, $26,250,000 contract with the Carolina Panthers, including a $9,765,000 signing bonus, $19,600,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,750,000

Sebastian Joseph signed a 3 year, $24,000,000 contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, including a $7,500,000 signing bonus, $16,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,000,000.

Ogbonnia Okoronkwo signed a 1 year, $3,250,000 contract with the Houston Texans, including a $625,000 signing bonus, $1,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,250,000.

Not bad I was hoping we would get a 4th for Williams but got a couple of 5ths that could have been 6ths

I'd rather still have Williams, Corbett, and Oko but I'll take this I guess.

Here's some of the web info on the current Rams big Five & the Projected Markert Value.

I believe the projections are running lower on some than what these Rams UFA's will end up with.

I am sure that Baker Mayfield will end up closer to $9 million. No way a Strong Safety Rapp will get over $10 million.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/taylor-rapp-29097/market-value/ -Avg. Salary: $10,077,750
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/ashawn-robinson-18995/market-value/-Avg. Salary: $8,024,918
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/greg-gaines-29182/market-value/ -Avg. Salary: $7,798,890
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/baker-mayfield-25096/market-value/ -Avg. Salary: $6,525,952
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/matt-gay-29193/market-value/ -Avg. Salary: $5,126,435

What teams could not stop the run in 2022???? I would expect Robinson & Gaines will be on their radar to sign!

Yea! I get 3 fifths that I can trade down with. I can probably get 3 6ths and 3 7ths. Woo Hoo!

A recent projection had Rams getting 4,5,6,7.

Instead they're getting 5,5,5,7.

So one pick is better than projected, one pick is worse than projected.

I suspect what we'll see is the Rams trade down and up with some of these picks (grabbing a 4th rounder at some point) trying to maximize picks in the top 100, especially if we get picks this year for Ramsey.
