I say the Nats beat M'waukee, and the A's beat the Tampa/Montreal Rays.

Divisional

AL
Stros over A's

Yankees over Minny

Stros beat NY

NL
Dodgers over Nats
Braves over Cards. WAIT WAIT WAIT CARD FANS. I CAN EXPLAIN. The Braves are my 2nd ream. All my dad's side of the family are in AL, GA, and SC. All Bravos fans. My grandpa drove me from Columbus to Fulton County Stadium to see Henry Aaron play. I always brag about that. I saw Hank Aaron play. Gotta support Grampa's team--all due respect, Card fans, cuz even if you do beat Hotlanta, y'all gonna have to play the Dodger Blue.

And we all know you're not gonna like how that's gonna end.

We've got a good idea.

By the way, the first MLB 3 game playoff series was in '46 between the Cardinals and Dodgers.

Yes yes. That's nice. But what's all this talking of the past? We're talking about the future.

I concede by the numbers the Cardinals have an uphill climb against both the Braves and the Dodgers. But its something this team has done before and being the best fielding team in MLB with a good bullpen gives hope. In some ways this is the most Whiteyesque team since the Rats '80s teams. When they get on base they will challenge the defense. If the Cardinals pitchers do well and the bats are live then they can beat any team.

I would have benched Soto for that dumb-ass stunt he pulled after the hit.

He gets hung up between 2nd and 3rd, and is already chest-thumping before letting the Brewer tag him out to end the inning.

He could have at least tried for 2nd. Make em throw it. Maybe the ball gets dropped, something. But he chose the Look At Me route instead of trying to keep the rally going. Amateurish.

He's the Nats' version of Puig.

(Not trying to piss on the Nats parade. It was a good comeback, and a damn good AB for Soto)

Too bad for the A's. They're probably the only AL team I care about

Game might've turned out different if Acuna doesn't admire his not-homer and stretch it into a double. Now we have Flaherty going today's game, and if he pitches like he did in the second half...look out.

Without 3 errors the Cardinals would have won easily. Well not easily since we have to rely upon Martinez to close the game.:palm: Acuna reminds me of Puig.

Cardinals gloves returned but bats stayed silent. Another quality start with no run support for Flaherty.

Spot on. Him first, team second

I was talking to my Uncle in Alabama, and he said everyone down there, fans, media, are livid about him. He wanted him benched. I agree.

Embarassing

Martinez blows another save. What Shildt sees in that guy I'll never know. Cardinals have the best bullpen in MLB. Imagine how much better it would be WITHOUT Martinez. 99 mph fastball isn't special any more. Especially if you're throwing it wild or over the middle of the plate. Both are specialties of Martinez. Oh and after you walk two batters why not throw at another one? Martinez never has his head in the game. The most un-Cardinal pitcher EVER. Not a single Cardinals fan was surprised that Martinez blew a one run lead wasting a phenomenal effort by Waino.

Braves 3
Cardinals 1
